Our Story
We first met at Mervin Iverson Elementary School in Las Vegas and we were both in the same 4th grade class but we never interacted with each other. We both attended the same middle and high school but our paths never crossed. It wasn't up until our senior year of high school that we finally really got to know each other. Our own friend groups ended up hanging out together and it was because of that, that we actually started to hang out together. We got closer and were surprised that we had many things in common like our love for anime, video games, and Spongebob! The momentous occasion that brought us together was Sadies, a dance where girls ask guys to the dance. On the way to the dance, I asked what we were to where we find out we like each other and then we started dating!
We achieved many life milestones together like graduating high school and college together,
happily getting our puppy Koji, and buying our first home!!!
On July 6th, 2023, the both of us took a, what was supposed to be, a normal short vacation to Santa Barbara, but ended up changing our lives forever. His elaborate plan involved getting us to the beach at sunset by saying we needed to take professional photos with our camera that he bought for the occasion. As soon as we got there, there was a picnic set up for us, to where he popped the question!
